Lotus Baby helpt ouders en verzorgers om de eerste jaren van hun kindje bij te houden — voeding, slaap, luiers, groei en mijlpalen.
De app is local-first: standaard staat alles wat je invoert alléén op je toestel. Verwerkingsverantwoordelijke voor de gegevens die wél naar de cloud gaan is Asim Kaymak (Lotus Baby). Contact vind je onderaan deze pagina.
Zolang je geen account aanmaakt, verlaat je data je telefoon niet. Log je in (gratis), dan verwerken we het volgende om synchroniseren en delen mogelijk te maken:

Je kunt een profiel delen met je partner, opa & oma of de oppas via een uitnodigingscode of QR-code. Zij zien alleen de profielen waarvoor jij toegang geeft, en je kunt die toegang op elk moment weer intrekken.
We schakelen een klein aantal betrouwbare partners in, alleen voor het draaien van de dienst:

Verkeer gaat versleuteld over HTTPS. Op de database gelden strikte toegangsregels (row-level security): alleen jij en de mensen met wie je deelt kunnen jouw gegevens lezen. Foto’s staan in een privé-opslag.
We bewaren je gegevens zolang je account en profielen bestaan. Je bepaalt zelf wanneer iets weg mag: een logje verwijder je met een undo-vangnet, en een profiel of je hele account verwijder je via Instellingen → Account. Een accountverwijdering wist je gesynchroniseerde gegevens definitief. Lokale gegevens verdwijnen wanneer je het profiel of de app verwijdert.
Onder de AVG heb je recht op inzage, correctie, verwijdering, overdraagbaarheid en bezwaar. Het meeste regel je direct in de app (gegevens aanpassen of verwijderen); voor de rest kun je ons mailen. Ben je het ergens niet mee eens, dan kun je een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Verandert er iets aan hoe de app met gegevens omgaat, dan werken we deze pagina bij en passen we de datum bovenaan aan.

Lotus Baby helps parents and caregivers track their little one’s first years — feeding, sleep, nappies, growth and milestones.
The app is local-first: by default everything you enter lives only on your device. The controller for the data that does go to the cloud is Asim Kaymak (Lotus Baby). You’ll find contact details at the bottom of this page.
As long as you don’t create an account, your data never leaves your phone. If you sign in (free), we process the following to make syncing and sharing possible:

| Your name & role | So the people you share with can see who logged something (e.g. “Mum”, “Grandma”, “Sitter”). |
| Baby profile | Name, date of birth, sex, and optionally birth measurements and a profile colour — the basis for the leap and growth insights. |
| Log entries | Your records: feeding, sleep, nappies, pumping, growth, activity, mood, temperature, notes and milestones (times, amounts and optional notes). |
| Photos | Photos you attach to an entry yourself, kept in private storage that can only be opened via a temporary, signed link. |
| Sharing relationships | Who you invite and who may see which profile. |
| Active timers | A temporary row indicating a running sleep timer or an armed feeding reminder, so a co-parent can see it live. It’s removed as soon as you stop. |
You can share a profile with your partner, grandparents or sitter using an invite code or QR code. They only see the profiles you grant access to, and you can revoke that access at any time.
We rely on a small number of trusted partners, only to run the service:

Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. The database enforces strict access rules (row-level security): only you and the people you share with can read your data. Photos live in private storage.
We keep your data for as long as your account and profiles exist. You decide when something goes: delete an entry with an undo safety net, and delete a profile or your whole account via Settings → Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your synced data. Local data disappears when you delete the profile or the app.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. Most of this you handle directly in the app (editing or deleting data); for anything else, email us. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
